Great shoes!

Reviewer: Sunny,
These are the best shoes that I have ever owned. I am a over-pronator and need the right shoes. I have used many but have found these shoes to be the best for me. I wear a B width and New Balance is the only company that offers a complete line of widths in all of their shoes. Kudos to New Balance.

Great shoes. Amazon always has the lowest prices. Get these if you have flat and wide feet.
Outstanding Shoe Quality and Fit

Reviewer: Douglas Thomas,
Thanks New Balance for making great shoes!
I have "Feet of Despair" described as a "B" width, a narrow heel, low volume, weak ankles (trashed ankle ligaments), and a very low arch. And, if the shoe toe box is too narrow, I get blisters on the lower edge on several of my small toes.
These shoes are built on a "SL-2" Last and give me the fit, cushioning and stability I require and a bonus of never suffering from a blister! The substantial arc on the heel cup also eliminates up-down heel slip.
Because New Balance offers a complete range of widths and shoe lasts, no longer does a person with narrow feet have to purchase shoes and accept the standard sales pitch/response "These shoes run narrow." What New Balance offers is a great fitting shoe for any person who will take the time to figure out what shoe model and Last works for them.
Once I figure out the model shoe and last that works for me, I have confidence New Balance will be making it for several years. The 1123 is the third NB model shoe I have used (continuously) in about 20 years and each model has always been a performance improvement over the old one. The 1123 is a fairly new model and this is my second pair.
You probably won't find New Balance shoes in narrow sizes on the bargain sales rack but if you are willing to make fair payment for outstanding quality, you will be satisfied.
A final note- a few years ago, I experienced a heel liner wear problem (shredded) when I switched to a new Model 1122. I sent the shoes to NB and they treated me respectfully and fairly by supplying a replacement pair in the next generation Model 1123 shoes. Great Customer Support!
Solve my foot pronation problems for running

So far these shoes give me the excellent support I need so that I do not have foot pronation problems. Over time I will see if they continue to do the job.
Got Plantars Facia? Get 'em

My wife has suffered from Plantars Facia for several years. About a year ago her podiatrist recommended this shoe. Although a bit pricey, the support is perfect and pain associated with Plantars Facia has been eliminated! No, she doesn't wear the men's model but rather the WR1123. Having a B width available is perfect for her. New balance, American Made, is the ONLY running shoe for this family.
