Shoe is great for running or casual wear. Have been running for years and the Saucony progrid guides are so far the best trainer i have found. Plenty of support, and heal cushioning. Long lasting.
Saucony Men's ProGrid Guide Running Shoes are the best shoes I've ever worn

About two years ago, I went shopping for some running shoes at Big Peach Running Co. in Decatur, GA (which I also highly recommend for their service and prices). While probably not a unique service, Big Peach Running Co. was the first shoe store that I had shopped at which videotaped my stride while I was running on a treadmill to determine which sort of shoe would be best for me. They gave me a couple pairs to try on, one of which was a pair of the Saucony ProGrid Guides. When I put them on, I could immediately tell that they were an excellent shoe for me; they offered both comfort and support. After using them for two years, I pulled out the insoles last week and found holes in the big toe area of the inserts (the rest of the shoes are still in pretty good shape). I replaced the insoles with Dr. Scholl's inserts (which greatly improved these old shoes), but I also bought two more pairs. They arrived within 2 days (with free shipping due to my purchase of two pairs!), and they are awesome, just like my first pair. I hope Saucony never stops producing this product; if they continue, they will have at least one loyal customer for the next 70+ years.

These are a great stability. They give lots of support while still being light and less stiff than mother stability shoes.
Nice cushion ride

After running in them about 20 miles, I'm really happy with my new Progrid Guides. The cushioning is very comfortable and they provide good support too. Sizing is comparable to the Brooks shoes I've been running in for the past year or so. If I get decent mileage from them I'll definitely purchase these shoes again in the future.
Best shoe I've ever had!

I've been a distance and middle distance runner for many years now. Of all the shoes I've purchased, this is the first one I'm buying a second time. It fits my foot perfectly, provides great cushioning, and has lasted for a long time. I will say that it doesn't last any longer than the other shoes I've used, but for my foot, this is really comfortable to run in.
